Our Mission

To broaden opportunities by providing computer literacy skills primarily to disadvantaged children and adults in Hawaii and the Pacific Region.

We are committed to providing computer education to those in need; we are passionate about doing good things in the community, and we are proud of our successes rooted in humble beginnings.

Computers touch almost every aspect of our lives, and we firmly believe that computer skills are a necessity. Our specialized computer classes create more educational and employment opportunities for people who might otherwise have been left behind. Most of our sites serve low-income, multi-racial communities. We are the only nonprofit in Hawaii with this mission.

Ohana Komputer continues to collaborate with many organizations, including public and private schools, the University of Hawaii (Creating Futures), community technology centers, other non-profit organizations, small businesses and private lessons.
